JJ Tai Chi 7 - Day Reset
Gentle Tai Chi for stress relief, movement, and everyday wellbeing

These Tai Chi warm-up postures, designed by Dr Chi to draw the student into a meditative state, have been broken down into six categories so as not to overwhelm the beginner. The seventh day brings all six categories together and demonstrates the warm-up sequence as it would traditionally be practised before working on your Tai Chi form. You therefore have a choice. You may work through each category day by day, gradually building your understanding and experience, or you may choose to move straight to Day Seven and follow the complete warm-up sequence from beginning to end. When I learnt these warm-up postures from my teacher, Master Rita Harris, we were encouraged simply to join with her as she moved through the postures at the front of the class. The art of joining began from the very first lesson. There was no pressure to get everything right. No pressure to remember every movement. Simply joining, following, and being present.
