ABOUT
This world has not been kind to me. With the racism and prejudice and the hate when I thought I had found someone to love me from another race and the hate from members of my race and that individual weakness with the help of others, this world has not been kind to me. But through the grace of the higher power and to me that is God, I am a black British Londoner of Antiguan heritage from the 70’s To you it might be the universe or a higher power of your ancestral construct or choosing. However if not now then when do I claim my right in this England that is now a multicultural society made up hopefully of honourable values an principles that shape our future and beyond, And I know there are many racists hating this clarity right now
Look you do not have to be atheistically perfect and beautiful to have joy!
I know this, you just have to, have a positive purpose for mankind your people no matter the numbert 1 to 1 million, for we are one and that will see you through.
They don’t care about us! Micheal Jacksons words, that means we have to care about Us! , and it starts as the Icon said by looking in the mirror and changing that person first!! OMG!!!! From the mouth of an Icon!!!
Thank you Micheal.
I can see you were all about that aesthetic beauty, for the transition across continents it was obviously needed.
However I am trying to lift those who cannot afford to make that seismic change, of course until they are. Or those that just want to be who they are for a minute !!!! Because the man in the mirror has shown them a better Way!!!
About JJ Tai Chi
JJ Tai Chi is about creating positive, lasting change — supporting mental health and overall wellbeing through gentle, mindful movement.
Tai Chi is often described as meditation in motion. Backed by a growing body of academic research, it has been shown to reduce stress, support mental health, lower blood pressure, and help manage symptoms of depression.
But beyond the science, it offers something deeper — a way to slow down, reconnect, and feel more in control again.
Why Tai Chi?
Modern life can feel overwhelming. Stress, low mood, and constant pressure can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves.
Tai Chi offers a different path.
Through slow, flowing movement and breath, it helps to:
-
Calm the nervous system
-
Improve focus and clarity
-
Restore balance in both mind and body
Over time, it becomes more than just exercise — it becomes a space where you can reset.
This approach is designed for real life — simple, accessible, and sustainable, even when life feels overwhelming.
My Journey
People come to Tai Chi for many different reasons.
For me, it began as a way to manage the stresses of everyday life and to learn self-defence.
What I didn’t expect was the profound sense of calm, clarity, and energy it would bring.
Over time, Tai Chi became more than movement — it became a way of living with greater awareness, balance, and resilience.
That’s why this quote resonates so deeply with me:
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” — Maya Angelou
Like many people, my journey has not been without challenges. The changes I’ve gone through have shaped who I am today — and Tai Chi has been a powerful tool in navigating that journey.
What This Means for You
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about small, consistent steps that help you feel better — physically and mentally.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, low mood, or simply want to feel more balanced, Tai Chi can support you in a way that fits into your life.
