ABOUT
Juliet Jones Tai Chi
Is about making positive changes in life to enhance one’s mental health and well being. With the help of Tai Chi which is meditation in movement. I would like to show how tai chi proven via the academic studies and articles that have been written advocating the benefits of Tai Chi, with it's myriad of benefits, also reduces high blood pressure and stops addiction.
People come to tai chi for different reasons. Mine was to navigate the stress of life and to know self defence. Little did I realise that stepping into this world of Tai Chi would be like stepping in and out of the zone, where I would become one with Tao and experience the magical relief of energy and meditation intertwined and flowing into one.
That’s why Maya Angelou’s quote makes perfect sense to me.
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
Maya Angelou
The changes I have gone through and the battles I have fought all contribute to who I am today.
Tai Chi and my knowledge of the principles helped me navigate the journey to the betterment of myself and my family, friends and community and that’s we all want, right.
